Just like checking a book out from the library means you can enjoy the story without buying a copy that will just lay around after you're done with it, using one of our kids party supply rental kits can save you money and clutter while also helping save the planet from endless consumerism!

​The information below explains how to rent a party kit for your little ones and helps you choose from our party decor options.

FAQ

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DAMAGE OR LOSE SOMETHING?

All kits will include a list of the items that were included in the box and all items lended should be returned in good condition.

 

If an item is damaged or lost, we simply ask for the cost of replacing the item. We have chosen not to charge a deposit at this time, but will reevaluate should it prove necessary.

DO I HAVE TO WASH THE ITEMS I AM RETURNING?

Items do NOT have to be washed. We do the washing up for you! We carefully wash, sanitise, and dry all kit items to make sure they are safe and hygienic for our users.

Please just remove all large chunks of food or liquids before putting back in the box...becuase ew!

NOTICE PERIOD & CANCELLATION

You can book your kit as far in advance as you would like. The latest we can accept a booking is by Noon the day before you would like to collect your kit. 

You can cancel up to Noon the day before your collection and still receive a full refund. Cancellations after this cut off are not entitled to a refund.

WHAT IF THE DATES I WANT AREN'T AVAILABLE?

Upon receiving your order, we will check the calendar to confirm your requested kits are available for your requested dates and respond on the same day. If they are not, we advise as much and give you a 100% refund.

If the service is popular, we will be adding more variety and quantity of kits.

HOW LONG CAN I HAVE THE KIT?

Kits can be rented for no more than 5 days. We ask that they are returned as soon as possible after being used so that we can get them washed, sanitised, and ready for the next person (and so they don't get super gross).

WHERE AND HOW TO COLLECT

Kits will be collected and dropped off to The Workshop at 4a Church Street, Ballynahinch BT24 8AF (at the roundabout to Newcastle/Dromore up from Iceland.) There is a lock box behind The Workshop. Upon receiving your Rental Kit order, Lauren and Dee will send you an email with the exact location and the code to the lock box so that you can collect and return the rental kit at a time that best suits your schedule.

Kits are available from 7 am on the day of collection and should be returned by Noon on return day.

You'll receive an email confirmation when your kit has been checked in and all borrowed items accounted for.

HOW TO BOOK A RENTAL KIT

1. Add a Party Kits - Rental Fee to your cart. This is the flat fee to rent 1 Tableware Kit + 1 Decor Kit (£20). You will be asked for your collection date and return date. 

2. Add the tableware and decor kits you want to your cart.

3. Check out.

4. You'll receive an email from TheWorkshopBallynahinch@gmail.com, separate from the generic order confirmation, confirming that the dates you requested are available and instructions for collection.
